MCM Tribute Concert to Ennio Morricone

On July 6th, 2020, an Italian composer known for writing The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, The Mission, Cinema Paradiso, and more, passed away. As an aspiring film composer and a big fan of Morricone, I thought my teacher’s idea for Manhattan Chamber Music’s third and last concert this summer was great. Ms. Lucie Gelinas decided to pay tribute to the wonderful composer by playing some of his major works. Join us this tomorrow, Friday July 31st @ 7pm, to commemorate Ennio Morricone and his beautiful music.

Thank you Ms. Lucie for giving me the opportunity to write two arrangements again! It was fun putting together Viaggio in 4 (with lots of guitar practicing) and My Name is Nobody (for 20 violins!).
