This three-movement piece is a reminiscence of various experiences of ordinary peace disrupted by ill-fated circumstances, cumulated into a fictional character. It starts off casually, a brisk walk, but don’t get too comfortable in the second movement because there will be turmoil waiting for you ahead. Come on the journey with this unlucky little lad.
