To show my gratitude towards the veterans who have risked their lives to make a change for the better as well as the frontline and essential workers who are working hard in the midst of their struggles during the COVID-19 crisis, I would love to share a video of how my public school celebrated Memorial Day. With heartfelt speeches, music, and art, we took time on Friday morning to reflect on and appreciate the efforts of our heroes of the past and the present.

Don’t miss the awesome collaboration (29:32) of Tuckahoe’s elementary, middle, and high school music departments singing and playing God Bless America! Oh, and who knew my independent art project for school would be used for the introduction and conclusion of this ceremony?
